Children of God

Children of God

As a child of the One True God, saved by His grace through faith in our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, I stand in a truth that reshapes everything:

“Ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26).

Pauls words ring with power—

not by works, not by birthright, but by faith, I am His.

This is no distant relation; it is a bond sealed by the blood of the Son, drawing me into the heart of the Father.

Faith in Jesus makes me family. It is trust in His sacrifice, His rising, His reign that names me a child of God. The Spirit testifies within, whispering, “You belong.” No storm can shake this, no thief can steal it. I am held by the One who spoke the stars into place, who calls me His own through the cross. What a gift—to be loved not as a servant, but as a son or daughter, with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ever near.

Charles Spurgeon said, “By faith in Christ, we are not merely pardoned, but adopted; not only forgiven, but brought into the family of God.” Watchman Nee added, “Faith is the hand that takes what God gives—sonship, life, Himself.” C.S. Lewis wrote, “The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.” John Bunyan declared, “He who believes in the Son has the Father too; the child of God walks in royal dignity.” Through faith, I am theirs, and they are mine.

I live this truth daily. When doubt creeps or the world presses, I recall—by faith in Christ Jesus, I am Gods child. It steadies me, lifts me, calls me to love as He loves. The Spirit wills it first, stirring me to trust, and in that trust, I find my place.

Dear friend, you too are a child of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Rest in it. Walk in it. Let His love shape you today.

Father, thank You for making us Your children through faith in Jesus. Seal this truth in our hearts by Your Spirit. Draw us close as Your own. In Jesus name, Amen.
